Gudrun E. Holiman

Gudrun E. Holiman, 79, passed away April 26, 2021. Gudrun was born July 21, 1941 in Schlaggenwald, Germany, the daughter of Anton and Maria (Floth) Marterer. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Gudrun was a friend to many people. She was always friendly and loved to help others. She loved to take walks in the woods with her dog, loved to visit with family and cook for them all. Gudrun loved music and singing. She loved to sit on her porch with her family and friends and enjoy nature.

Gudrun was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Holiman, her parents, and her sister Christa Grams. Survivors include her daughter Doris Can and her husband Cihan, their children Jochen, Michael and Christian; daughter Elke Popp, her children Marvin and Patrick; daughter Maria Holiman; son Stephen Holiman, Jr., his daughter Emelie; five great grandchildren; nephew Juergen Grams, his children and grandchildren; and many other family members.

Graveside services will be 2PM, Friday, May 7 at Green Lawn Cemetery, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri.
