Dolores Ruth Holmes

Dolores Ruth (Headley) Holmes of Grandview, MO passed on Monday, April 30, 2018, at the age of 82 to live with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on September 3, 1935 to Fred and Ruth Headley. She married Glennie Lee Holmes in July 1952. Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, as well as her daughter, Theresa ‘Renee’ (Holmes) Corrice and 1 sibling. She is survived by two sons, Glen ‘Alan’ Holmes and Steve Randall Holmes and wife, Angela Sue (Bumgarner) Holmes, as well as three grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan Bowden, Leann Beth (Holmes) Brownfield, and Abigail Renee Holmes and 2 great-grandchildren. She attended Blenheim Assembly of God Church, now known as Turning Point Church most of her married life until her passing. A memorial service will be held at Turning Point Church, 9150 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64138 on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 7pm.
