Maurice A. Horovitz, 90, passed away June 28, 2021. Maurice was born to Louis and Lauretta Horovitz. He was one of 3 children. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Jeanie Horovitz and his sister Revely Horovitz. He is survived by his sister Rae Frances Jaben of Atlanta, GA; his daughter Linda Henning and husband Earl of Mount Juliet, TN; daughter-in-law Sue Horovitz and husband Steven who preceded him in death; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren: Beth Gallion and husband Gary of Old Hickory, TN, (Alex, Zach and Evie - great granchildren); Christa Redd and husband Matthew of Franklin, TN, (Mason, Chole and Max - great grandchildren); Malinda Lindenmuth of Merriam, KS and husband Burton - (Benjamin - great grandchild); Brian Horovitz and wife Nancy of Kansas City, MO, (Amelia and Serenity - great grandchildren); and his nieces and nephews.

Maurice was a devoted, loving, and hardworking husband and father who provided well for his family. He was a Federal contract employee for Lake City Arsenal which was his full-time job until retirement. During that time he also owned and ran a used car sales business. He enjoyed traveling to see his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He traveled with his daughter and her family. After retirement he enjoyed watching television and all the things he was unable to do while working.

Visitation will be 9AM, service 10AM, Friday, July 2 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery, 7100 Blue Ridge Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse International Disaster Relief.

Visitation will be 9AM, service 10AM, Friday, July 2 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery, 7100 Blue Ridge Blvd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan’s Purse International Disaster Relief.
