Cheryl May Hylton

August 15, 1945 — July 14, 2019

Cheryl May Hylton, 73, went home to be with her Lord on July 14, 2019. She passed away at her home in Kansas City North surrounded by family. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, July 19, in the Fellowship Hall at Claycomo Baptist Church, 312 East Longfellow Street, Claycomo, MO 64119. A service celebrating Cheryl's life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, July 20, in the Claycomo Baptist Church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Claycomo Baptist Church Kingdom Expansion Fund.

Cheryl was born August 15, 1945, in Higbee, MO. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Helen and Elmo Smith, and father, Henry Dean.

Cheryl worked as an accountant for Shouse and Company Certified Public Accountants for 38 years. She was an active member of Claycomo Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy R. Hylton; son, Ronald D. Stawicki II (Nerissa); step children, Teresa Reuscher (Kevin), Richard Hylton (Denise) and Aaron Hylton; 13 grandchildren, a great grandson; brother, Jerry Jones (Carol); as well as other family members and many friends.

Service Information:

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, July 19, in the Fellowship Hall at Claycomo Baptist Church, 312 East Longfellow Street, Claycomo, MO 64119. A service celebrating Cheryl’s life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, July 20, in the Claycomo Baptist Church sanctuary.
