Michael Scott Ingham

Michael Scott Ingham, 61, of Kearney, MO, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 25, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospice House.

Mike was born November 23, 1960, in Sacramento, CA, the eldest of three children of Robert William Ingham and Nancy Waunita (Poe) Ingham. His parents preceded him in death.

Mike was a 1984 graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point.   Following graduation, he served four years in the US Army and received honorable discharge as a Lieutenant.   Mike later received his Master's degree from Kansas State University.

In 2002, Mike founded Labormax Staffing, headquartered in Kearney, MO. He operated the business for the next 20 years as it expanded to 106 branches throughout the US. Mike's dream was to build the business to a billion-dollar company. His legacy will be remembered as a mentor, friend and entrepreneur as Labormax continues to grow.

Mike is survived by his wife, Traci, of the home; sons, Robert Ingham, Clayton Ingham, and their mother Julie Ingham, all of Kansas City; step-children, Lucas Connelly, his wife Naras, and their children Aiden and Maeve, of Silver Spring, MD and Lauren Connelly and her children Hera and Ezra, of Pleasant Hill, MO; brother, David Ingham and wife Lana, of Anaheim, CA; sister, Kathy Latham and husband John "Sonny", of Las Vegas, NV; as well as nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 am, followed by a service celebrating Mike's life at 11:00 am, on Friday, June 10, at St. James Catholic Church in Liberty, MO. Interment will be at a later date at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Fort Riley, KS.

The family requests no flowers. Instead, a scholarship fund will be established in Mike's name. Details to give to the fund will be announced soon.
