Luke C. Iseman

Luke Christopher Iseman, “Sophie’s Daddy”, 29, passed away May 7, 2021.

Luke was born October 18, 1991, in Merriam, KS and grew up at Lake Lotawana, MO. He was a 2010 graduate of Lee’s Summit North High School. Luke loved working on cars, remodeling everything and hanging out with friends and family. Everyone loved "Lukey". He had a kind and gentle heart and always made the time to be a friend to everyone he met. His charming demeanor, crooked smile and wonderful laugh will never be forgotten.

Luke’s greatest blessing was his daughter and best friend, Sophie Lynn who was born February 8, 2019. The love they shared was a beautiful gift. She is his little “mini”. Her contagious smile and big blue eyes will carry on his gentle spirit.

Along with Sophie, Luke leaves his mom, Julie Ann Taylor; his dad, Brien Christopher Iseman; sister, Taylor Nicole Iseman; grandparents, Bonnie Jean Taylor, Lawrence Joseph Taylor, and Patricia Sue Iseman; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends, including his faithful friend and co-pilot, Dutch.

Luke was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Edward Iseman.

A memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Church Administration Building, 414 SW Persels Road, Lee’s Summit MO, 64081, 5:00 PM, Thursday, May 20, 2021; a Celebration following at Brien Iseman’s Home, 729 SW Derby Drive, Lee’s Summit MO, 64081.
