Sandra "Sandy" Kay Ives, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 22 1946, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at home.

Sandy worked for the Marine Corp Finance in Kansas City, Missouri for many years. After a short retirement she worked at Common Grounds in Grandview, Missouri where she drove clients to appointments and took them on many shopping trips. She was also very active in Missouri Southern Baptist Disaster Relief where she volunteered to go to New York City and clean apartments affected by the September 11 tragedy.

Some of her favorite activities were camping and canoeing with friends and family. Sandy loved animals especially her dogs and chickens. She also loved attending church at Martin City Baptist Church, and being with her friends and family.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 48 years Dick Ives, her mother Madelyn Weyer, father Tony Adair and stepmother Pat Adair, sons Kenneth Ives, Brian Ives (Kristy), grandchildren Chris Martino,Gideon Weeden (Myrissa), Isaac Ives, Kaleb Ives, Rebekah Ives and 5 great grandchildren plus many friends.

Services for Sandy will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City Missouri 64138. Visitation will be 9 am, with services to follow at 10 am; burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
