It's hard to lose such a special friend but absolutely no doubt our Sandy is smiling down on us. Nice to have a personal Angel in Heaven. I am a better person for knowing her. So blessed that our paths crossed and I got to have her in my life for 45 years. I know she is watching over her family and I know they will continue to always feel her presence.

To the entire Ives family: How blessed you are to have had Sandy intimately close in your lives. Her departure leaves a huge void. I'm praying the Lord will hold you tight, comfort you, and cheer you with happy remembrances. She was one special lady! God be with you all as you mourn together, still rejoicing that's she's with Jesus now.

Sandy and I met as very young girls attending grade school together. We became fast friends and spent our afternoons and weekends playing together, sharing our hopes and dreams. We both became Christians at an early age. Our lives took us in different directions but we always stayed in touch while raising our children and becoming grandmothers. I will always value our friendship and hold Sandy's memory dear in my heart forever. I pray that her family will feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit now.

Sandy - you are smart, you are KIND and you are important. So much history that would be different except for your life. What a sweet heart for Jesus - when you were called upon to serve, you said "yes." Well done friend.
