Jack Madison Cook passed away peacefully August 7th 2024.
He is survived by his wife Avalie, his daughter Patsey and son-in-law Mike, his son Steve and daughter-in-law Dana. He had six grand children; Andrew, Madison and her husband Shourya, Kylie, Joe and Tom. Jack was a lifelong sportsman.
He enjoyed hunting deer and turkey as well as fishing. Jack was employed as an automotive painter for the Ford Motor Company and moved on to perform in many other roles such as a machinist, assembler and maintenance worker for various companies in his lifetime. He owned rental properties and dabbled as a builder, rebuilder and inventer of small engine machines. There was nothing that he could not take apart, rebuild or create. He was a frequent vendor at the local weekend Swap & Shops. Dad loved animals, filling his life with cats, dogs and rabbits all who enjoyed long happy lives under his care. We called him “The Cat Whisperer” for his ability to tame even the wildest of strays.
Jack was ninety-five years old when he passed and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and caregivers. He touched everyone who knew him. We love you Dad.
