James Dixon Anderson, Jr., 71, of Liberty, MO, passed away July 29, 2022, at Liberty Hospital.

Jim was born December 24, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, one of three children of James Dixon Anderson and Marguerite Heer Anderson. He was united in marriage to Pamela Helene (Rush) on November 11, 1985. Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Jim worked as a Commercial Appraiser for the Missouri State Tax Commission before he retired in 2014. He was a Past Master of Temple Gate Masonic Lodge and member of the Knights of Columbus in Liberty.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Pamela; sons, James Anderson III of Overland Park, KS, Brandan Anderson of Kidder, MO, Cameron Anderson of Columbia, MO, Sean Anderson of Springfield, MO and Antony Anderson stationed with the US Navy in San Diego, CA; step children, Daniel Wilson of Pensacola, FL, Shannon Wilson of Auburn, GA and Jon Wilson of Overland Park, KS; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, August 3, at St. James Catholic Church, Liberty. Burial in Glenridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Foundation or to the American Heart Association.

Service Information:

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, August 3, at St. James Catholic Church, Liberty. Burial in Glenridge Cemetery.
