Jean K. Wroughton

Jean K. Wroughton, 95, passed away February 10, 2024.  Jean was born October 17, 1928 in Houston, Missouri.  She graduated from Houston High School, class of 1946.  Jean worked at Electronics Institute trade school as registrar in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was a member of and active in Lee's Summit Christian Church.  She also volunteered for Lee's Summit Social Services and Lee's Summit Kiwanis Club.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents Ralph O. Casebeer and Nora B. Wall, stepmother Grace E. Morris, husband Byron E. Wroughton, brother Ralph D. Casebeer, sister Mabel Zupon, daughter Kathy J. Wroughton, one nephew and two nieces.  Survivors include her son Kent E. Wroughton, four nephews, six nieces and their families.

Memorial services will be 11AM, Saturday, February 24 at Lee's Summit, Christian Church, 800 NE Tudor Rd., Lee's Summit, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to Lee's Summit Christian Church, Lee's Summit Social Sevices or Kiwanis Club.
