Jerry Lee Rine

Jerry L. Rine, 80, passed away  Sunday, September 16, 2024 at NorthCare Hospice house in North Kansas City, MO surrounded by his family.  Jerry was born on April 12, 1944, in Clarinda, Iowa to Olin and Nellie (Gitchel) Rine. Jerry was a truck driver for over 40 years. He had many hobbies over the years, including fishing, hunting, and softball; but bowling is what he loved best for over 60 years. He was known for being sassy, witty, and telling it like it is. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Mike Smith and Pat Smith and one sister, Denise Miller. He is survived by his wife, Patti Rine; son, John Morrison and wife Laura; daughter, Sella Minker and husband Sean; 5 grandkids: Amanda, Ivy, Alexis, Madyson and Zane; and one great grandson, Lincoln. Also survived by one sister, Cindy Pope. 

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
