JoAnn Marie Ollier
JoAnn Marie Ollier, 86, a longtime Liberty resident, passed peacefully at home on March 16, 2024, surrounded by family.
JoAnn was born June 16, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Beatrice Irene (Cook) Deininger. She was united in marriage to Donald J. Ollier on May 22, 1965, and they are parents of five children and grandparents of four granddaughters and four grandsons.
JoAnn was an active member of St. James Catholic Church, where she worked in the church office and served on its Altar Society. She was also a volunteer for LOVE, Inc. JoAnn was a true seeker of knowledge. She was not interested in material things of this world, rather she enjoyed spending her time learning, reading, discussing big ideas, and sharing this knowledge. She was vivacious, charming, gentle and embodied love and kindness for all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Donald; children, Susan (Derrick), Steve (Amy), Dan, Tom (Ashley), and John (Erin); daughter-in-law, Marlene; granddaughters, Hannah, Aubrey, Emma, and Amy; grandsons, Bradley, Brandon, Parker, and Palmer; her brother, John Deininger; as well as other family members and many friends.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 am, followed by the Rosary and Mass of Christian burial beginning at 10:00 am, on Saturday, March 23, at St. James Catholic Church, Liberty. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
