Howard Wayne Johnson

Howard Wayne Johnson, 73, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2018, at his home in Lathrop, MO. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Howard’s life at 12 noon, on Wednesday, August 1, at Park Lawn Lathrop Chapel, 901 Clinton Street, Lathrop, MO. Committal services will be at 2:30 pm Wednesday at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Howard was born December 24, 1944, in Gilman City, MO, to Clarence and Mildred (Corbin) Johnson. Along with his parents, Howard was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda; granddaughter, Tasha; and grandson, Jeremy. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver and Teamsters member.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; children, Tammy Oddo, Cathy Johnson and Jake Johnson; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
