Denise Ann Joy

Denise Ann Joy, wife, sister, mother, grandmother and friend was born in Kansas City, MO on August 2,1957. She is survived by her husband Bob and her children Carlos Padilla and Linda Stump; three stepchildren: Danny Joy, Ryan Joy and Megan Howell; three brothers: Chris Thurman, Tim Thurman and Bruce Thurman; one sister Vickie Beebe; six grandchildren: Jillianne Joy Taylor, Dominic Howell, Hailey Stump, Clifford Wood, Joanna Wood and Lacey Stump; and numerous nieces, nephews, in laws and friends including Max the Dog.

Denise loved kayaking, cooking, collecting Betty Boop collectables and gardening. She loved her family, her friends and was kind hearted even to those she didn't know. She was called to the Lord December 10, 2018.

Memorial services will be 1PM, Thursday, December 13 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
