Karen Ann Everett

         Karen Ann Everett, 81, joined her Lord and Savior in her eternal home on May 24, 2023, with her husband of 57 years, John Everett, at her side.

         Karen was born July 22, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of James and Dorothy (Kramer) Smith. She grew up in St. Joseph, MO.  Karen was united in marriage to John Weston Everett on July 17, 1965, in Gower, MO. They renewed their faith in baptism at Grace Community Church in Smithville and attended until Karen’s health no longer permitted.

         Along with her parents, Karen was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Jean Riley. Survivors include her husband, John; children, Kim Amick (John), Bob Riley (Pam), and Lori Tyrone (Mitchell); seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

         Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 1, at Glenridge Cemetery, State Road B at Shepherd Road, Liberty, MO.
