Karen Kay Moore, 61, of Liberty, passed peacefully on May 29, 2023, at Liberty Hospital surrounded by her family.
Karen was born June 5, 1961, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Frank and Maxine (Kenney) Shipley. Her parents preceded her in death. Karen grew up in Gracemor and attended Winnetonka High School.
Karen was known for hard work and devotion to her family, especially her grandchildren who were her world. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Moore; children, Andrea Shipley (Chad Huck), Joshua Lansdale (Jennifer), Cory Moore (still searching!) and Heather Bramble (Jake); grandchildren, Aleasha, Landon, Frankie, Ayden, Brinkley, Colton and Bradon; siblings, Larry Wright, Jimmy Shipley, Eddie Shipley, Kathy Douthit and Linda Shipley; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Karen’s life at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Kearney, MO.
