Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle

Kevin Ronald Hampton, age 44, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2024, at his home in Riverside, Missouri. He was born on March 6, 1980, in Kansas City, Missouri to Ronald Hampton and Judy (Jones) Stubbs. He graduated from Hickman Mills High School in 1998.

Kevin was the kind of person who left a mark on everyone he met. He was treasured for his selflessness and always being there for others, whether it meant helping to fix a car, driving his niece and nephews around, or caring for his family's pets. He had unconditional love for his family and friends. If someone needed help, Kevin was there – reliable, giving, and steadfast. His parting words to his family were always, “I love you,” and you knew he meant it.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Cecil Hampton Sr., maternal grandparents Hank and Jewel Jones, and brother Scott Klossner.

Kevin is survived by his parents Ronald (Barbara) Hampton and Judy (Steve) Stubbs; grandmother Carleen Hampton; sister Michelle McClune and her son Tyler (Katie) McClune; brother Scott (Chyanne) McGee and their kids Skyler and Laim McGee; sister Tara (Chad) Miller and their kids Izzy Tate and Braxton Ky Miller; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Kevin’s life during a Visitation on Monday, December 9, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, followed by a Loving Remembrance at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, located at 1640 N State Route 291, Liberty, MO 64068. All are welcome to attend and reflect on the joy Kevin brought into their lives. 

Through Kevin's love, laughter and boundless kindness, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
