Jane Kirby

Jane (Humphrey) Kirby, 89, of Liberty, MO, passed away June 10, 2020, at Liberty Health and Wellness Center.

Jane was born May 16, 1931, in Kansas City, MO, the younger of two children of Ralph and Blanche (Minter) Humphrey. Along with her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Eldon Humphrey.

Jane worked in food service at Lewis and Clark Elementary School in Liberty for four decades. She was a longtime member of Liberty Christian Church.

Survivors include her children, Connie Jackson (Dale), Linda Miller, Kenneth Kirby (Annette) and Lea Soto (John); grandchildren, Keith Kirby, Jessie McCall, Eldon Miller, Harold Miller, Lily Soto and Garrett Soto; and great grandsons, James and Tommy McCall.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 15, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Diamond Blackfan Anemia Foundation.
