William G. Kreisel

William George Kreisel, age 77, passed away April 22, 2021. William was born March 28, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri to Ervin Leo Kreisel, Sr. and Nettie Mary (Hauschild) Kreisel. He graduated in 1962 from Southeast High School. In 1967, William married Wilma L. Williams Kreisel in Kansas City, Missouri. He worked as a draftsman for DIT-MCO for nearly 30 years. William was a talented artist, often leaving adorable notes in his children’s lunchboxes. He told lots of dad jokes, loved to play games and sports with his kids, was obsessed with classic cars, and never said no to ice cream.

William was preceded in death by his wife Wilma L. (Williams) Kreisel, his parents Ervin Leo Kreisel, Sr. and Nettie Mary (Hauschild) Kreisel, and his brother Ervin Leo Kreisel, Jr. Survivors include his children: Brian Kreisel and his wife Cathi Kreisel, Atlanta, GA; and Dawn Bauer and her husband James Damask, Columbus, OH; grandchildren Joshua and Ana Kreisel; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 2PM, Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Lifegate Church, 2911 Blue Ridge Blvd., Independence, Missouri; private interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to kchospice.org/donation.
