though I have not known this family long, it wasnt hard to tell that sammy was the glue to this beautiful, messy wonderful family. in 10 short months, he made a special place in my heart. he was the most kind person ive ever met. I loved walking into the house to see him there waiting, smiling at whoever came through the door. he cracked jokes all the way up until a few days before he passed. I just hope that this family doesn't completely fall apart. I am so glad to have been apart of a family who treats me like their own. thank you.

Uncle Sammy. I can't believe your really gone. I love you. You are a very loving, caring man. You have left an impression in my life. You helped raise me. You have seen all my kids grow. You have a heart of gold. I couldn't have asked for a better role model. Fly high Sam. We will meet again one day.
