Charles E. Kvasnicka, known in his youth as Junior, by his hometown as Charlie, by his OP Alumni as Kwaz and by his wife, family and friends as Chuck, passed away July 21, 2020. Humor was his calling card, on and off the road with Kenington and Ocean Pacific among other brands; and especially at home. His demeanor was kind and generous; his spirit loyal and full of wisdom. He was larger than life and was the glue to his family and friends. Chuck’s attire was 3 piece suits in college and early work in menswear….until he discovered ‘denim’; he invented professional looking casual wear before it was popular; suits would forever be a struggle. He sported a beard and mustache most of his life; wore his hair trimmed, mohawked, permed and finally in a ponytail. He enjoyed fishing, skiing, and boating, was a less than average golfer and had the driving gene. Later, he discovered gardening and nature watching…….the outdoors comforted him. Chuck is survived by his wife, Holly Hart; daughter Kelli and husband Mark Bedunah; step daughter Kim Schultz; sons Jeff & Randy Caldwell; eight grandchildren, Kassie Hitchcock, Kailee Bedunah, Brent Schultz, Zac, Katie, Caden, Carinna, and Cooper Caldwell and two great grandchildren, Cooper and Kinsley; siblings, Richard and wife, Judith, Mel, Nancy and Charlotte Kvasnicka. He was preceded in death by a half brother and sister, Farrell and Glenna. As a big family man, his relationships with his nieces and nephews were extremely important to him.
