Nancy Lachance

Nancy Fayedell (Allen) Lachance, 69, of Phoenix, AZ, and formerly of Independence, MO, went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 7, 2021. She died at home following a diagnosis with ALS a year and a half ago.

Nancy was born March 7, 1952, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was united in marriage to Joseph Brian Lachance on November 23, 1976. Nancy was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a lifelong member of the Assembly of God church and attended the Remnant LDS Church with Joe in the later years of his life.

Preceding her in death are Nancy's husband of 40 years, Joe; parents, Jake Trafton Allen; Helen Irene (Whitt) Bean, Duane and Marquita Clevenger; and siblings, Brenda Allen, Trafton Allen, Linda Faye Allen and William Earl Smith.

Survivors include her daughters, Tamara Jones (Kent) and Stephanie Lachance; and grandchildren, Brandon and Hannah Hoeppner, and Parker and Marshall Sundberg. She also leaves her sister, Sonseeahray LaPee; as well as other family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am, on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 North State Route 291, Liberty, MO 64068. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the ALS Association (http://webaz.alsa.org/goto/nancylachance).
