William G. "Bill" Lashbrook, 67, of Pittsburg, KS, passed away in his sleep on April 29, 2021. He was born March 9, 1954, to James and Lillie Lashbrook (now deceased). After graduation from high school in 1974, Bill served in the US Marine Corps. Following military duty, Bill went to work in maintenance for Pitt Plastic, where he met his wife, Lillian Lashbrook. They were married July 6, 2004. Bill and Lillian moved to Liberty this year where he was working for Challenge Manufacturing in Kansas City.
Bill was a loving Dad and Papa. Along with his wife Lillian, he leaves children, Kimberly Thompson of Edwardsville, KS, Crystal Tilley of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Suzanne George of Independence, MO; grandchildren, Logan Light of Junction City, KS, Austin Hood of Edwardsville, KS, Haylee Ann of Edwardsville, KS, Kaylle George of Independence, MO and Daymon George of Independence, MO; and great grandson, Hunter Light of Junction City, KS. Bill also leaves his sister, Lillie of Belton, MO and niece, Stephanie Lashbrook of Pittsburg, KS. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Jim.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Children's Mercy Hospital.
