Salvatore Thomas Latore, 81, died January 19, 2022, at a nursing home in Raytown, MO. No service will be held but there will be a plaque placed on a stone at Swan Pond at Park Lawn Funeral home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138.
Mr. Latore was born November 5, 1940, in St. Louis, MO. Tom was a talented musician, mastering the saxophone and guitar among other instruments, entertaining in clubs for much of his adult life. He was even known on occasion to play backup for well-known musicians such as Stevie Wonder and Tina Turner. He was also a school bus driver for many years. He lived in St. Louis until he moved to Kansas City, MO in 2008.
Mr. Latore was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Latore and Ruth Schueren Latore; sister, Regina Latore; and son, Anthony-Thomas Latore. He is survived by his brother, Anthony Latore; his sister, Donna Nassar; and his daughters, Darlene Hunsinger, Christine Daniels and Angie Gould.
