Barbara J. Laughman

Barbara Jean (Peacher) Laughman, 85, of Kearney, MO, passed away July 21, 2021, at her home.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Barbara's life at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, July 27, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial in Glenridge Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Ararat Shrine Hospital Transportation Fund.

Barbara was born January 15, 1936, in Alexandria, Virginia. She grew up in Virginia where she graduated from high school and was crowned Miss Colonial Beach, Virginia. She was united in marriage to Harry M. Laughman on September 25, 1960 in Colonial Beach. Barbara retired from Guy's Foods in Liberty and was a member of Holt United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death are Barbara's parents, Robert and Marion Peacher, and brother, Bobby Peacher.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Harry Laughman, Sr.; children, Harry Laughman, Jr. (Angela), Larry Laughman and Sharri Smith (Nathan); grandsons, Barry, Brent and Brady Laughman, and Josh and Kris Smith; five great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. She also leaves a sister, Jane Trail, as well as nieces and a nephew.
