So sorry to hear about Dan he was a joy to have as a pastor as a teen in Neosho Nazarene Church he definitely made an impact on my life. Prayers & comfort

Karen Beasley

I can not summarize Daniel League in 2-3 sentences. He was someone I had known for 58 years. My parents had always tried to keep us close to education and Christianity. Our family had been blessed with an individual, who had also been a “life-long” clergy member. Dan has passed to be with the parents who have already gone into heaven. He will be welcomed by those who have prepared a place for him.

We have known Rev Dan League and Jean since 1998 when we first met at the Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene Church. Dan was a mentor to Bob and encouraged him to become the Associate Pastor for Hillcrest.

We're so sorry for the family with the loss of Pastor Dan. it's never easy, one can prepair all we think we can, but the pain is still there. We were blessed to have known him. We have that promise though that we will all be together again. I know that there is rejoicing in heaven. His spirit lives on. May God the Father, God the Son and our Holy Spirit comfort you through this difficult time.

So very, very sorry to have lost a good friend and pastor. Dan was the consummate preacher. His very humorous preaching always contained a profound and appropriate message. The Church of the Nazarene has lost one of its finest. We got to know Dan on trips to the Nazarene Summer Bible Camp and as a member of our Sunday School class at One Life. Both his and Jean’s contributions to our discussions were always both colorful yet heartfelt and deep-rooted in relevant scripture. We also knew Dan as a gentleman and loving husband who always had a kind word about everyone. He will be missed!

Dan (& Jean) were a joy. How we loved conversations & laughter & stories week after week as we met for weekly breakfast, attended the same church, etc. Sometimes, in the last months, there was little laughter but Dan's faith shown brightly. We loved them & we shall miss them. We are grateful their path crossed with our path these past nine years. ❤️

Pastor League was my pastor in my formative Christian years. He was always a blast to be around. His humor was contagious and he and mom had many good pranks they pulled on one another. I’m so sorry for your loss. Love this man and will always remember him fondly. Prayers over you as you grieve his passing. See ya soon Pastor League.

We were both truly blessed with the wonderful friendship of Dan while we were a young pastor and wife on the Illinois District. Dan was a true mentor and expressed his deep compassionate love for his fellowman. Dan will leave us with that legacy of love.
