Nancy Ann Leer of Kansas City, MO, passed away November 26, 2020.

Nancy was born on February 27, 1953, to Lee and Alice Hughes. After high school graduation in 1971, Nancy pursued her passion and obtained her cosmetology license.

Nancy was a loving wife, sister, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed every moment with her family. She touched so many lives and was loved by all. Nancy always had a special place in her heart for her fur babies.

Nancy is preceded in death by her mother, father, sister Linda Hughes and brother Dean Hughes. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Leer; daughters, Stephanie Leer-Baker and Michelle Leer-Bass; grandchildren, Greyson Baker, Jordyn Bass and Kyleigh Bass; and sister, Janet Melcher; as well as other family members and friends.

Due to current COVID restrictions, a celebration of Nancy's life will be announced at a later date. Remembering Nancy's love for animals, memorial contributions are suggested to KC Pet Project.
