Leslie Kae Witt

Leslie Kae Witt, 51, of Liberty, MO went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital Plaza Campus, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Liberty Christian Fellowship Church (1815 W. Liberty Drive, Liberty, MO 64068). Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service, Burial will be in Waterloo Memorial Cemetery, Waterloo, Iowa 

Leslie was born October 21, 1973 in Waterloo, Iowa to Kenneth V. and Georgianna M. (Schley) Witt. She was the youngest of eight siblings, growing up in a household full of love, laughter and many sibling pranks. 

Leslie graduated from Hudson High School in 1992, spending her high school years playing tennis and volleyball. She then received training at Covenant Hospital (now MercyOne) as an x-ray technician, and later went on to receive her American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification as a CT technologist. Since 1999, Leslie worked in the Liberty Hospital Imaging Department. She loved working at the hospital and was adored by her colleagues. 

In her free time, Leslie enjoyed scrapbooking, spending time by the pool, and taking annual trips with her sisters. She attended Liberty Christian Fellowship in Liberty, and was a devoted follower of Jesus. She had spent the last year memorizing the 16 verses of Psalm 91. Verse 1: “The one who lives under the protection of the Most High dwells in the shadow of the Almighty.”

She is survived by her Children; Sydnie Pfiffner, Lucas Pfiffner and Maggie Pfiffner . One grandson Jackson Pfiffner all of the Kansas City area. Her father, Ken Witt, Hudson, IA., her siblings, Jeff (Carla) Witt, Hudson, IA., Sister Luci ( Jeff) Huegel, Marion, IA., Lynn (Keith) Gaylor, Marion, IA., Dave (Jarith) Witt, Hudson, IA., Lani (John) Hill, LaPorte, IA., many adoring nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgianna Witt, two sisters, Lori Swonley and Lisa Witt. Her family is rejoicing that she had a personal relationship with Jesus and has been reunited in Heaven with her mother and sisters.
