Charles W. Lillygren

Charles Warren Lillygren, 75, passed away December 6, 2018 at Kansas City Hospice House. Warren is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice; his daughter Tricia of Greenwood, MO; and his son Douglas of Calhoun, MO. He is also survived by his brother Larry Lillygren; sister Rita Runions; and many nephews and nieces.

Warren will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, patience, caring of children, humor and his love and devotion to his family.

Warren was born February 24, 1943 in Cleveland, OH to Charles A. and Juno R. Lillygren. He graduated from Ruskin High School and served in the US Navy for four years. He received electronics training in the Navy and continued to pursue that training mostly working on medical equipment. He spent 20 years at Children’s Mercy Hospital in the Bio Medical Department before he retired.

Visitation and service will be held at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Sunday, December 9 and the service will be 1PM, Monday, December 10; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
