Lois Jean Kirk

Lois Jean Kirk, 100, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 in her home, surrounded by love. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, Monday January 13th at Park Lawn Chapel, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138 and service held at 1:30 PM. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lois was born September 25, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri, the second of twin girls, to Ethel Kinchloe and William Sebastian. Lois and her twin sister were raised by their Grandma Bell Sebastian. She resided in the Kansas City area her entire life. Lois retired from Sears after 35 years, when her husband retired as a bricklayer. Lois was quite the fashionista and never left the house without lipstick on. Lois was the mother of 2, had 6 grandkids and 11 great grandkids that she fiercely loved. You could always find Lois with a dog in her lap and a Dr Pepper in hand. Lois greatly impacted her children and all her grandchildren’s lives. She will be greatly loved and missed by all.

Lois was proceeded in death by her Parents, Twin Sister Doris, Husband of 61 years Edwin, Daughter Gail Moritz and Grandson Donny Chambers. Survived by Daughter Debby Chambers. Grandchildren; Andy Chambers (Danielle), Jacob Moritz (Kelly), Molly Gallagher (Brady), Lacy Blanchette (Chris), Erin Portell (Danny). Great-Grandchildren; McKenzie, Breanna, Kennedi, Anthony, Chas, Andi, Benjamin, Jackson, Dominic, Danica and Charlie.
