Marilyn Kay (Mann) Long, 70, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away at 3:45 AM on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel in Liberty, Missouri. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow the services at Terrace Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. Memorials and contributions are suggested to City Union Mission. The family would like to thank St. Luke's Hospice for the amazing job they did helping Marilyn.
Marilyn was born on February 4, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri to Clarence and Ramona (Oryall) Mann. She attended Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri. On May 7, 1966 she was united in marriage to Cecil Eugene Long who preceded her in death on September 21, 2010. She was a member of the Vineyard Church and volunteered at the Hillcrest Thrift Store. Marilyn was also a frequent visitor at every Bingo Hall in town.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her son, Cecil Long, Jr.; her daughter, Stacy Holmes and husband Jim; grandchildren, Mariah Long and Cameron Long; her companion, Al Kerns; and sisters, Marlene Belzic and Rita Sears.
Service Information:Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel in Liberty, Missouri.
