Philip Ian Lunning

Philip Ian Lunning, son of Steven and Lynn Lunning, brother of Julia Hoover, brother in law of Robert Hoover, uncle to Henry Ian Hoover, brother of Andrew Lunning, brother in law of Stephanie Lunning, grandson of Daphne Wittmer has lived all his adult life in the Westport area of Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Park Hill High School in 2001. Philip worked at several jobs in the Kansas City area. He was an avid KC Chiefs fan and could discuss sport facts with anyone at length. He loved playing disk golf with his friends. Philip had a very caring, easygoing personality and valued his friends and family. Philip suffered a head injury (TBI) 10 years ago; after rehabilitation had been living on his own until his untimely death at his home on September 6, 2020. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Wallace Lunning and Marvin Wittmer, grandmother, Lucile Lunning, uncle, Bryan Wittmer, and first cousin Joseph Wittmer. Philip was 37 years old.
