Lynn Eloise Brown

Lynn E. Brown passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 78 in Kansas City, KS. Born on September 16, 1946, Lynn was known for her warm, loving, and giving nature which touched the lives of many around her.

Lynn graduated from Raytown South High School and furthered her education at the University of Central Missouri. She dedicated many years to nurturing young minds as a special education teacher. After retirement, Lynn continued to engage with her community, working as a concierge at Arrowhead and as part of the office staff at Raytown Christian Church, where she was also a devout member.

Her hobbies included scrapbooking, crocheting, and painting, activities through which she expressed her creativity and preserved beautiful memories for her family and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Miller and her husband Chris; her son, Mike Brown and his wife Melanie; and her grandchildren, Zach, Alicia, and Drew Brown.

A visitation will be held at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138, on October 19, 2024, at 9 am followed by the funeral at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kansas City Zoo in Lynn's memory.
