Margaret Ann Norton was born September 12, 1933, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Joseph Preblich and Ollie Anna (McGrew) Preblich. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two of her children, Debra Sue Howell, and David Earl Howell. Margaret is survived by four of her children, Linda Ann Betz of Raymore, Missouri, Richard Lee Howell (Linda) of Raymore, Missouri, Janet Lynn Jonas (Bruce) of Kansas City, Missouri, and Brenda Joyce Davis (Richard) of Kansas City, Missouri, as well as twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Margaret was a Certified Nurse Assistant early in life, and then worked for many years as a book binder. She has always loved music and loved to dance. She enjoyed making crafts, doing puzzles, and especially loved to read. She could read an entire novel in day until she sadly lost most of her eyesight later in life. Margaret’s chocolate chip and ‘green icing’ sugar cookies were legendary – thankfully, she passed down the delicious recipes to her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Margaret passed away peacefully on March 9, 2023, surrounded by her children. She was 89 years old.
