Marilyn Y Potts

Marilyn Y. Potts, age 89, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024, in Blue Springs, MO. Born in Alamogordo, NM, she was preceded in death by her father, Robert O Pender, mother Zella Belle Thompson Pender, stepmother Billie Pender, sister Madeline Pack, her husband Denny, sister Michelle Givens, her husband John, and stepbrother Robert Pender. 

Marilyn is survived by her sons David Potts and Don Potts, daughter Debra Nossaman, son-in-law David Nossaman, grandchildren Zaine Potts, Charles Potts, Jonathan Potts, Justin Sternberger, Sarah Tully and Amber Potts, as well as several great grandchildren. 

Her hobbies included photography, painting, ceramics, interior decorating, sewing and quilting. She loved to travel with her family and best friend, Sheila. She will be remembered for her loving dedication and devotion to those she loved. 

Visitation services will be held on October 26, 2024, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138 from 2:30 – 3:30, with memorial service following.
