Mark Raymond Paddy

Mark Raymond Paddy, age 62, passed away November 11, 2024.

Mark was born February 24, 1962, in Paola, KS, to Hugh Quindale “Joe” Paddy and Anna Belle Williams Paddy. He graduated from Venus High School in Venus, TX.

He and Kristy Hedrick met on July 7th, 1980, which was the first day they both started working at Business Men's Assurance in Kansas City. Remaining friends for several years, they eventually progressed to dating and married on August 8th, 1987.

Mark liked fishing, working on cars, and the outdoors. He liked NASCAR, and was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. His favorite vacation spot was Florida, and Key West in particular. He worked as a printer at various companies throughout his career, until he decided to retire early. Mark was pretty laid back and easy to talk to, and there was never a doubt where you stood with him.

He was predeceased by his father, mother, brother Larry Paddy, and daughter Christina Paddy.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Kristy Paddy; his daughter, Jennifer Paddy; and sister, Cathy Etzenhouser.
