Martha Finley

Martha "Marty" Ruth Finley was born September 30, 1939, in Kansas City, KS to Waldermar "Walter" and Ruby Peterson. She passed through the gates of Heaven on April 10, 2025.

Marty enjoyed shopping, dancing, motorcycle rides, camping, fishing, traveling, and especially spending time with family and dogs. Marty was known by many as a beautiful and flashy woman; she loved all jewelry and fancy clothes. Marty also had a love for antiques which is now a treasured pastime of generations following her.  Marty also enjoyed volunteering for The American Red Cross, Kansas City Chapter. 

Marty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, her twin sister Mary Miller, and granddaughter Jennifer Earnheart. She is survived by one sister, Sarah Mitchell, four daughters Cheryl Stewart, Linda Finley, Michelle Riley (Robert), Charlene Lisa Shafer-Wurtz (Gary), four grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
