Jr. Frank L. Martin

Frank L. Martin, Jr., age 66, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2019. Visitation will be 12-1PM, with services to be held at 1PM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Frank was born in Kansas City on May 3, 1953. He was a long time resident of Northeast and graduated from Northeast High School in 1970. Frank worked in the transportation / trucking industry for over 40 years.

He was married to Cheri (Gelwix) Martin on February 6, 1993. He enjoyed his family and friends, bowling, fishing and the KC Chiefs. Frank is survived by his wife Cheri Martin, 2 sons Tyler Gelwix, Tony Martin and wife Jessica, daughter Janie Younger and 2 granddaughters, Brianna Martin and Cali Younger, all of Kansas City, MO, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank Martin, Sr. and Betty A. Martin of Northeast KC.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial donations. Please join us for lunch immediately following the service at Frank and Cheri’s home.
