Robert William Martin

Robert William Martin, 80, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away April 30, 2020, at Liberty Hospital.

Bob was born November 8, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, the eldest of two children of Robert Franklin and Elaine Maud (Underholt) Martin. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister Diane. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Williams on March 7, 1960.

Bob's career in sales spanned several decades, retiring from Conway Trucking. Bob and Pat moved from Naperville, IL to the Liberty area in 2006 to live near their grandchildren. Bob was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

Bob leaves his wife of 60 years, Pat; son, Scott Martin, his wife Kris, and their children Douglas and Mallory all Kansas City; and son, Steve Martin of the Chicago area.

Visitation will be held from 10-10:30 am Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. Graveside services will immediately follow at Glenridge Cemetery in Liberty.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
