Douglas Allen Marx

Douglas Allen Marx, 59, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away November 5, 2020, at NorthCare Hospice House with family at his side.

Doug was born July 9, 1961, at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. He graduated from Oak Park High School. Doug was united in marriage on March 10, 1990 to his wife, Karen Lynn. He worked many years as a rough-in carpenter in home construction until his health no longer permitted.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Marx; step father, Ron Klemp, and brother, Chris Marx.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; daughter, Leah Stafford (Paul); granddaughters, Paisley and Piper; mother, Sandy Klemp; step mother, Connie Marx; nieces, Felicia and Nicole; as well as other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Wednesday, November 11, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the KU Cancer Center.
