Mary I. Larison

Mary I. Larison, 91, passed away December 11, 2023.  Memorial services will be 10AM, Tuesday, December 26 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
     
Mary was born June 3, 1932, in Windsor, Missouri, to Gladys Carpenter and George H. Lilley.  She graduated from Windsor High School. Mary was united in marriage to William Lee Larison on June 6, 1953. Mary and William moved to Kansas City, where they established their household.  Over the years, Mary worked for JCPenney, Dolgin’s, Southwestern Bell, Sutherlands and the Phone Co., but will also be remembered as a homemaker.
     
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and George Lilley; husband William Lee Larison; sisters Vivion Car, Billie Jean Loehr, and June Kruger; and daughters Vick Larison and Pam Larison.  She is survived by her daughter Debbie Larison Groh; grandchildren Michelle Davis, Sarah Davis (Gavin), Kip W. Spooner (Hayley); and Shy Gordon; great-grandchildren Mercedes Peek, Dayton Davis, and Coby Stewart.
