In loving Memory of Mary Ann Vance,
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, Feb 3rd 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories.
Born on March 26, 1950, Mary was a remarkable woman whose presence touch the lives of all who knew her. She was a devoted wife to Richard Vance. A loving mother to Dana and Jonathan Vance. A doting grandmother to Anthony, Cameron, Brady, Kennedi and Benson. Her love and dedication to her family was unwavering and she took great joy in creating a home where all were welcome.
As a wife Mary was a source of strength and support. She stood by Richard through thick and thin offering love, guidance, and a listening ear. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and companionship, inspiring all who witnessed their relationship.
As a mother Mary was the epitome of selflessness. She dedicated her life to raising her children. Her love knew no bounds and she was always there to offer guidance and comfort.
But it was as a grandmother that Mary truly shone. Her presence in their lives brought immeasurable joy and the memories they shared together will forever be cherished.
She held a special place in the hearts of her extended family and friends. Always ready with a kind word or a helping hand.
Though our hearts ache with the void of Mary’s passing we find solace in the memories we share with her. Her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, reminding us to live each day with love, kindness, and gratitude.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Vance, her son Jonathan Vance and daughter in law Katie Vance; her grandchildren Anthony, Cameron, Brady, Kennedi, and Benson and father Bryan Overcast.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Dana Vance.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to The University of Kansas Cancer Center.
