Mary V. Zellers

Mary V. Zellers, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. She was born August 15, 1944, in Kansas City, MO to James & Frances Anderson. 

She worked for Sears Contract Sales as a secretary for 38 years before her forced retirement; she went on to work at the Jackson County Corrections as a secretary for almost 15 years before retiring at age 75. She was previously married to David Zellers who passed away October 31, 2001. She lived life for the simple pleasures like shiny coins, new money for presents, playing slots at the casino & to love her family, friends & pets. 

She is survived by her son Michael, daughter Christine, daughter-in-law Ashley, son-in-law Donald, grand kids KC, Lauren, Abbey, Alexis, Reannan, Shannon & David. Her brothers Michael & James & numerous great grand kids, nieces & nephews. 

Family & friends are invited to Park Lawn Funeral Home 8251 Hillcrest Rd Kansas City, MO 64138 Friday January 31st 2025 (casual attire) from 4:00pm-5:00pm Visitation & 5:00pm-6:00pm for the Memorial Service to remember a wonderful woman who will be truly missed but never forgotten.
