Roger L. May

Roger L. May, 69, passed away November 13, 2021 in Kansas City, MO. He was the devoted husband of Carla. They shared 41 years of marriage together.

Born in Keosauqua, Iowa, he was the son of Harold and Eldora. He graduated from Lakewood High School, played football at University of Wyoming and the University of Northern Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado. Roger was a retired executive officer at Commerce Bank.

Roger was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church. He enjoyed coaching youth football and baseball, playing piano, golf, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his kindness, sincerity, and generosity.

He is survived by his wife, Carla (nee Trager), children Lucas (Mariah), Stephen (fiancé Lindsey), and stepson Nathan (Heather), grandchildren: Denver, Foster, Boyd, Piper, Zane, and sister Ann Mari. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bill.

The celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 18, at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Chesterfield, MO.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to a charity of your choice or to Shriners' Hospitals for Children.
