Nancy Kay Mayville

Nancy Kay (Pritchett) Mayville, 80, a longtime Lathrop resident, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2020, with her daughters at her side at Oakridge of Plattsburg. Graveside services with visitation following will begin at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 6, at Lathrop Cemetery, Lathrop, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Special Olympics or to the Disabled American Veterans.

Nancy was born August 8, 1939, in Columbia, MO, the eldest of two children of Coe and Kathleen (Rogers) Pritchett. She served her country in the US Army Women’s Army Corps, receiving honorable discharge on December 12, 1960. Her career with the Social Security Administration spanned 30 years, retiring as a Fraud Claims Specialist. Nancy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lathrop and the Lathrop American Legion.

Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by a great grandson, Alexander Beverly. Survivors include her daughters, Colleen Latham (Chester Knight) and Jennine Jones (Don); grandchildren, Kathleen Beverly (Tim), Sarah Latham, Kevin Jones and Chris Jones; great grandchildren, Caydence, Philip, Piper and Michael; her brother, Roger Pritchett (DeAnn); three nephews, Jim, Pat and Matthew, and their families, as well as other family members and many friends.

Graveside services with visitation following will begin at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 6, at Lathrop Cemetery, Lathrop, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Special Olympics or to the Disabled American Veterans.
