Melba Ann Jordan

Melba Ann (Morehead) Jordan, 72, of rural Rayville, MO, passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2023, at her home. Melba was born March 7, 1950, in Pittsburg, KS, the third of four children of Marvin and Beryl (Barrett) Morehead. Melba was united in marriage to Michael Lawrence Jordan on September 5, 1970. Along with her parents and husband, Melba was preceded in death by her sisters, Sandra Tarter (Paul deceased) and Barbara West. Melba worked many years as a travel agent and after retirement worked as a Medical Receptionist for Liberty Hospital.

Survivors include her children, Shari Felsinger (Carl) and Michael Jordan; grandchildren, Torie Felsinger (Michael Nitsch), Cade Felsinger, Colton Jordan and Marla Jordan; great grandchildren, Everett Nitsch and Eleanor Nitsch; brother, Danny Morehead (Leah); brothers-in-law, Doug West, Terry Jordan (Cindy deceased) and Curt Jordan (Mitzi); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Melba was deeply loved by all her family members, and she will be greatly missed.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Melba’s life at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 North State Route 291, Liberty, MO.
