Vicki L. Miles

Vicki was born March 18, 1968, to Linda and Charlie Chouteau. Vicki remained with her birth mother Linda when her step father Don Miles raised her, adding a brother John in 1970. Vicki graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 1986, and cosmetology school following that.

Vicki met Dennis Boyles and married in 1990. They brought Dennis Jr. (DJ) into the world in 1991. Vicki unexpectedly became a widow in 1992. They were successful owners of a restaurant in Oklahoma City. Vicki and David Lang later married in 1994 and added Emily Lang to the family. David unexpectedly passed during a camping accident.

Vicki and Mike Bruce were together for their last 20 years. She found much peace with Mike as he was her final rock, living in Springfield for the last decades. He has cared for her through many operations related to her lifelong kidney disease.

Vicki loved without remorse, she showed up and gave without question, and she always stood up for those that were unable to stand for themselves. This by far was her best trait. Matching her in relentless forgiveness of others should be a goal for us all.

A memorial celebration for Vicki will be Friday, July 8, 6:30-7:30 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel in Liberty MO.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 pm Friday, July 8, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.
