Michael Dean Milum

Michael Dean Milum (Mike), 56, Independence, MO, passed away October 14, 2018 at KU Medical Center after a long battle with Myotonic Dystrophy. He was a lifelong resident of Independence, MO. A Visitation is scheduled from noon to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018, Rosary prayed at 1:00 p.m. at Park Lawn Funeral Home at 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO 64138.

Mike was born on June 30, 1962 in Kansas City Missouri, the son of Larry and Margaret (Peggy) Milum. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Larry and Ann Milum, and brother and sister-in-law, Vince and Lynn Milum, and sister and brother-in-law Robin and Darrel Lewis. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, Ashley (Matt) Johnson, Vince, Jr., Shawn and Parker Milum and Sean Lewis and great nephew, Connor Johnson, as well as, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Milum and grandparents, Edward and Lydia (Toby) Milum and Paul and Jane Linnane.
