Monica K. Beckstead

Monica K. Beckstead, age 50, passed away August 6, 2024.

She was a loving friend and mother.

Monica passed away leaving four children: Mariah Beckstead, Bryanna Waton, and sons Carl and Justin; her brother, Bruce "Buzz"; and her mothers, Sharlene and Martha.

She was preceded in death by her fathers, Mike Waton and Bruce; and her brother, Phillip Waton.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2-4pm, Friday, August 30, 2024, at Park Lawn Funeral Home. 

In loving memory of Monica K. Beckstead. Even though her time here on 

Earth was short, her memory will forever be in our hearts. 

May God bless and keep her until we meet again.

In Heaven far above.

And that I’d have to leave behind,

All those I dearly love.

But when I walked through Heaven’s gates,

I felt so much at home.

When God looked down and smiled at me,

From His great golden throne.

He said “This is eternity

And all I’ve promised you”,

Today for life on earth is past,

But here is starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow,

For today will always last.

And since each day’s the same way,

There’s no longing for the past.

So when tomorrow starts without me,

Don’t think we’re far apart.

For every time you think of me,

I’m right here in your heart.
