Marion Jean (Sage Frizell) Montesano, 84, passed away August 15, 2019. She was born July 4, 1935 to Kenneth and Mary Lucille Frizell in Kansas City, MO. Marion married Donald E. Sage in 1953 and after he passed in 1975, she married Frank Montesano in 1978. Marion was employed as a secretary for 34 years with Equifax Services. She enjoyed bowling, square dancing, her flower gardens and traveling in their fifth wheel. Marion attended the Gravios Mills United Methodist Church, served as President of the United Methodist Womens Group and was active in many of the church activities.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, brother Buddy, sister Barbara (Frizell) Brewer, sister Janiece J. (Frizell) Capoot, stepson Patrick Montesano and nephew Steve Capoot. Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Frank Montesano; stepchildren (whom she could not love more if they were her own), Robert (Lisa) Montesano and Jami (Steve) Wells; her grandchildren: Kody (Shawn), Derek, Nicole (Scott), Erica, Rob (Mary Beth); her great grandchildren: Carson, Sophia, Andrew, Aiden and Abram; and her brother in law James Capoot. All these children were a big part of her life and she felt very fortunate to be a part of their lives.

Visitation will be 12PM, with services at 1PM, Saturday, August 24 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, MO; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gravois Mills Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation 12PM, service 1PM, Saturday, August 24 at Park Lawn, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial Memorial Park.
